Let me just start by saying that if we hadn't met Katharina I 100% believe that we would not have gotten the home that we did. My husband and I were first time home buyers and a military family (so relatively new to the area) and were looking for a realtor to represent us as buyers. We met Katharina at an open house and I instantly knew this was the person we needed to work with! She was so informative, easy to talk to, and truly seemed to want to work with buyers of all stages in their home buying process (first time buyers, experienced buyers, military, etc....). I also felt like I could trust her (she was truly working to get us the best deal and wasn't going to try and talk us into settling for something). I reached out after the open house to explain what we were looking for and almost instantly Katharina was working on finding us the best home for us and the best deal. I had expressed interest in a particular home that had a recent price drop but was still slightly above what we were comfortable with. Katharina spent the next 3 or 4 days calling and emailing the listing agent of the home working to see if a possible deal could be made. If it weren't for her expertise and guidance my husband and I would not have made the offer we did. Not only did Katharina get us the home at the exact price we wanted ... she helped to get a response from the sellers the same day, walked us through ever single step of the escrow and closing processes, and connected us with a fantastic broker to ease our concerns and answer our questions on the financing end of things. Even though I know she had other listings/deal/clients I never once felt like a bother or an inconvenience. I absolutely recommend this team!!!

Working with Kat Nissen as my selling agent, I was astonished by her knowledge of the market and market timing. Kat wasn’t enamored with a cash/no contingency offer when there were other offers above list. We discussed the relative terms and final outcome differences and closed the deal with a great contract. Closing was fast and worry free, it was 37 days from when the property hit the MLS to cash in bank. Kat was very responsive, and presented herself professionally. With Kat’s guidance, I scored big.
